God calls out and says again:  "Is there anyone here who yearns for life and desires to see good days?"  If you hear this and your answer is "I do," God then directs these words to you...The Rule of Benedict, Prologue

Sisters Vicki Ix, O.S.B., and Veronica Joyner, O.S.B., made their perpetual monastic profession on
September 1, 2007

Karen Trespacz and Kathy Perssons entered the community as postulants on
September 2, 2007.

Monastic life, as it is expressed in the The Rule of Benedict, has endured for over 1500 years.  In every age and throughout the world, God continues to call women and men to live the Benedictine charism.  Benedictine monasticism continues to be a gift to both the Church and the world.  It continues to be gift to each person who accepts the invitation.
